Last day, a balcony overlooking Praia Iracema, a great place where we really stopped and healed. A whirlwind cycle of almost 4 month and then spontaneous, totally off field one month in this gorgeous place. I look back; still so many melons without a place in my "box" and yet I feel finally really calm.
Must be the sand, the back to running/moving and the 28 degrees ocean and the constant 31 degree; all I need  (almost!) to be happy; including a super overindulgence of Roland Garros matches in the internet :) the perks of the comfortable life, ha!

It all sort of started a few days before we arrived in Santiago. Sal Solcito in bad shape, my vision suddenly become really affected. A trip to Australia, working again in Sydney and seeing our people, our home, our city. But most importantly being with the children. So much to enjoy, so much to share. And then, one day, we are leaving them again. The sadness so deep. We are getting more and more used to say hellos and goodbyes, we recover quicker or we think we do. Somehow though the impact lingered around for a good while. It is in the form of silences, sleepless nights, headaches, sore throat, mood swings. Straight to Buenos Aires, no stopovers, our parents and the emotional roller-coaster continues! And as they said things comes in 3s and in our case, in 4s and 5s! SalSolcito still in the mechanic, a luggage lost by LAN Chile, our tenants in Sydney gone, my treasured-Mazda still without any new owner, Hecti and I both really sick with the flu, and more and more....

And so, on a freezing day in Santiago, looking at the cloudy/rainy day; with no prospects of resolving any issue...we just left! A long flight to the north of Brazil and Fortaleza become our home for 1 month! From here all seemed better! And in our last week here we rented a car and visit beautiful Canoa Quebrada and the magical place of Jericoacoara, a real oasis shape paradise!

Ready now to continue, we are going back to Chile to finally reunite with our home and we are coming back to Brazil; this time a bit south....we think Brazil will be our place for the next 3 months.... who knows....

...and then after a few weeks, we met an angel...
He took us to all this new places, to really visit "his town". We were able to know more about the culture in Brazil and the differences between all the regions. He introduced us to his friends and one day we ended up cooking for 11 people! Such a gentle soul, caring for his elderly mother. A promise of feathers and glitters, a childhood dream...let's see!
